| Hi Kimberly
We have a 4 year old Standard Poodle who has always had extreme digestive
problems...very loose rancid stools, bad breath, flatulence, bile
vomiting, rejecting food 2-3 times a week and curling up in a corner.
He has had all the vet tests available, but with no conclusions. We
tried many recommended foods but the problem never went away. After
chatting with you in the pet store we decided to tentatively try some
of your Ultimate Chicken dog food. Kimberly, we cannot believe it.
Cooper's stool problem stopped - IMMEDIATELY....I mean like the next
morning. His stools look like they came from another dog. Dave Dickie |

"I have been feeding the BARF (raw food) diet to my show/coursing Salukis for nearly 15 years, starting long before the trend for feeding raw took hold of the dog community. I was immediately impressed with the changes to my dogs' overall condition when I started on the raw diet and have been on it ever since. I have raised 5 litters of Salukis on the raw diet. Last year I was looking around the local pet food store and came across the flyer for The Ultimate Diet - I had always been looking for an easy to prepare alternative for the raw diet for those times when I was away and others had to look after the dogs and were finding it difficult to deal with all the ingredients that went into my daily raw feeding schedule. The Ultimate Diet seemed to fit the bill. So I tried a couple of bags. I was very quickly surprised to see a definite improvement specifically in coat condition on my Salukis. For some time I had been worried about the somewhat dull coats I was experiencing with my Salukis but within 3 or 4 weeks of feeding the Ultimate Diet there was definitely a change for the better. I also suddenly realised how much time I spent running around buying all the necessary ingredients for the diet (vitmains, oils, alfalfa, kelp, chicken carcasses, meat, offal and so on) and spending a lot of money for each of those ingredients. Now I had the whole diet in one easy to feed packet. It hasn't taken me long to completely change over to feeding The Ultimate Diet on a full-time basis. I still feed the chicken carcasses or the raw meaty bones in other forms as I really do like my dogs to give their jaws a good workout, but I have eliminated all the need for finding the ingredients for their diet and can quickly and easily serve up dinner without a lot of fuss. An added plus is the fact that it is so easy to thaw and feed, so forgetting to take out the frozen food isn't an issue anymore. The dogs love the food, I love that the ingredients are all organic and freshly prepared and I am expecting my first Ultimate Diet in-utero fed puppies in May." Hope this is okay for you. |

Theo is my 3-year-old Great Dane. When she was a puppy, she vomited almost every night for almost a year. She also suffered with bouts of colitis. I went to the vet who put her on antibiotics, and a gastro-formula kibble. Theo’s vomiting continued, and I switched from one high quality kibble to another with no improvement. I began supplementing her diet with cooked chicken, rice and vegetables, which she tolerated very well. Finally we realized that Theo was allergic to the ‘chicken meal’ in commercial dog food. I knew she could eat real chicken, so whatever it is that they put into kibble was something her body did not tolerate. After doing some research, I found out about The Ultimate Diet and I was so relieved. Immediately Theo was more excited for her meals and her vomiting stopped. She has had no episodes of colitis since she started eating The Ultimate Diet and her coat is magnificent! I strongly believe that Theo will live a longer, healthier and happier life because of this food. I only wish that I had known about it earlier so that she didn’t have to suffer as a puppy. I finally found a product that I felt good about feeding my dog! Thank you for making such an incredible product! Love Danielle and Theo |

My
3 year Tibetan Homer has a history of vomiting, itchy coat and extensive
tartar on his teeth. I have changes may dietary changes including:
"high end" kibble, I have cooked for him, he has even been
on other raw food diets. His teeth were just getting more stained
and he would continue to vomit very easily with persistent itchiness.
Although I am not an advocate of medical model I felt that he was
suffering too much and put him on a short dose of steroids and anti-
histamines. The itchiness stopped while on the steroids but came back
as soon as he stopped. |

Kali, my 2 1/2 year old yellow Lab suffered from chronic urinary tract
infections within the first 2 months of her life...and she was fed premium,
top quality kibble, like Fromm, Solid Gold and Wysong.
After more than a year of going back and forth to the vet, and even trying a holistic vet, trying out drug after drug, I decided to switch her to the Ultimate Diet, and I immediately saw the improvements! Before the Ultimate Diet, she would not be able to go without daily medication to keep the UT infection at bay, it would come back within 2 days of being off the medication, not a good scenario! The infection went away within a week of feeding her the Ultimate Diet, YAY! Even though the Ultimate Diet is a little more expensive then a kibble based product, I was spending much more on daily medication, not to mention the fact that I had a miserable Puppy on my hands. Now, KALI is back to enjoying life without constant pain. I am absolutely sure that her overall health has benefited from The Ultimate Diet. Keep up the good work, --Mimi & Kali

I have to tell you what a difference this diet
has made on my Shetland sheepdog. Princess, who is 14 1/2 years old,
was dying three years ago. She had no interest in life and had severe
arthritis. Princess suffered many health problems during her life due
to traditional pet care. She had a dislocated disc in her neck that
took years to heal, had urinary tract infections, glaucoma in one eye
(which was removed), and had overweight problems. In June, 1997, I found
out about a better and natural way to care for animals. I put her on
natural dog food, supplements, and some fresh foods. Within months,
Princess became full of life again and happier with a moderate to mild
form of arthritis. She also had long periods of time where her arthritis
did not bother her and her weight went back to normal. From September
1999 to December 1999, her health began to decline again. Nothing would
work! At the end of the year, I put Princess on The Ultimate Diet. It
was this diet that made a difference! Within a month (instead of months),
Princess was feeling better and considerably happier than ever before.
I would recommend this diet for any age dog or cat. It is truly the
best diet in the world for our companions.

I
have two Chinese Sharp-peis. Brooklyn is two years old. Before The Ultimate
Diet she was mess. Her coat was not shiny, she had bald spots, and dandruff.
Brooklyn also suffered from chronic ear infections, and bad breath.
I am happy to say that after one year of The Ultimate Diet she looks
like a million dollars - her eyes and coat are shiny, and her ears are
free from infections. She was always a finicky eater prior to The Ultimate
Diet and now she loves her food and is in great health.
Shadow is my second Chinese Shar-pei and I have had her on The Ultimate Diet since the day I brought her home at 7 weeks. I truly believe that because this is really the only food she has ever known - she is a picture of health: happy healthy, and energetic. Thanks to the Ultimate Diet! --Kimberly Weir-Sousa

I would just like to say thanks from my dog for the wonderful food!
I saw your truck driving down our street 2 weeks ago and thought this
looks interesting. I looked up your website and saw you have your food
at Small Wonders.
It has been just a week and my Airedale (8 1/2 years) hasn't been happier. I have been recently taking him to the vet for some lumps on his back legs.....which as it turned out are fat tumors. He also has, since he was a pup, a skin condition. We made his food for 5 years so he wouldn't have the toxins present in most brands. Unfortunately my wife and I are vegetarian so the food he got was veg based. His skin got better but not perfect and his fur always seemed oily and flakey. He also has for the past eight months had this shaky leg syndrome Which is why I wanted to check out the lumps. I take him to the East York Vet on St Clair and O'Connor because they offer Homeopathic options to the standard medicine. They couldn't figure out as yet, what was wrong but thought it might be neurological or muscular in origin. Let me tell you.......since he has been eating your food he hasn't had this problem, which tells me it might have been his skin which was hyper-sensitive and made him shake......I don't know for sure. Anyway, his fur is already showing signs of health as well as his skin in only 6 days. I can't thank you enough. I am telling everyone. -- Cam MacInnes

We would be happy to say how much The Ultimate Diet has helped Milo, our nearly one year old chocolate lab.Since we first got Milo as a tiny puppy she always seemed to suffer with one thing or another: really bad dandruff, vaginal rashes, she was either constipated or the opposite, she suffered from ear infections--in short she was a lot of hard work. We tried everything we could think of with her diet, including lots of advice from other dog owners until we were directed to your company after she nearly died from gastro ingeintirious (I am not sure of the spelling). We started her on the food as a last resort and her health has improved greatly: her skin is shiny, her bowel movements are much improved and she hasn't had any other problems either, we used to be at the vets once a week for months and we haven't been since we started her on The Ultimate Diet. Although it is very expensive it has worked out much cheaper than the previous months if taking into account all the vet bills--and that is with pet insurance. So, thank you for making it so much easier for us to enjoy Milo and her good health. The food worked for us and we highly recommend it! -- Abigail Simon

"Although my dog, Holden, has been on The Ultimate Diet only a short period of time, I have noticed a marked improvement in his skin and coat quality. His scratching marathons occur far less frequently and his skin is no longer red and splotchy. I also remove far less hair and dead skin when I brush him. "Holden has always been famous for his "room clearing capabilities" but on The Ultimate Diet, all of his intestinal difficulties seem to have disappeared. "I've tried many other super-premium foods (in kibble form) and none have benefitted my dog like The Ultimate Diet. I'm very glad we found this food!" -- Catherine Bartos |
"Three months ago, I started Chloë, my 7 year-old dog on The Ultimate Diet. I adopted her last October, and she had a few health problems. She was overweight, despite being a finicky eater. She had dandruff, but worse, she was on medication for a chronic limp in her front paw. Within a week, her energy levels rose and her limp virtually disappeared. She is no longer taking medication, and her coat is soft, shiny, and dandruff-free. Not to mention, SHE LOVES HER FOOD! It is so much easier to prepare than I had anticipated, and it doesn't cost much to feed her. "Every evening, Chloë waits eagerly as I get her dinner ready. She eats every bite. She is regular, and despite a stronger appetite, she lost her extra weight. "I'm switching my cats to The Ultimate Diet too. "Thank you, thank you, thank you," --Jean Colburn and Chloë

Micah
was a very difficult young dog who came to me with much more than typical
pound-related-bad-behaviour-baggage. He was *completely* wired from morning
to night. One trainer told me that Micah was the "most wired, out of control"
dog he had ever seen. (Ah, such comfort.) For 5 months I couldn't leave
the house without him for fear of what he would do (or scream) in my absence.
And he certainly wasn't making any friends for us at the parks with his
aggressive, loutish behaviour. One day, someone pointed out that maybe
his bad behaviour was related to what he was eating. No, no, I thought,
he eats 'premium' dog food, that can't be it. But the statement led me
to do some research into 'premium' dog foods (blech), and finally I found
my way over to The Ultimate Diet. Gradually, over the 3 months that Micah
has been eating The Ultimate Diet, his behaviour has gone from abhorrent,
to manageable, to dare I say delightful. Thankfully, he is not the same
dog he was before starting on the Ultimate Diet. He is even and controlled
in his temperament at home and playful and charming in the park. It's
like he's now at ease in his body. And during this transformation, nothing
else has changed in our lives - just what he's eating - The Ultimate Diet.
Thanks, Jennifer Ross |

"I am a multiple dog and cat owner and have been making food for my pets for the last four years. I am a huge advocate of raw food feeding but can find it hard at times to fit it in to my schedule. The Ultimate Diet has made providing superior nutrition to all of my animals convenient and economical. My dogs and cats are healthy and vital. I have no problems with worms and have not had to use any flea prevention or control for over four years now. If you have a dog or cat with persistent health problems or just want to focus on wellness do not delay... GO GET THE ULTIMATE DIET... you won't be sorry."

"When Satchel was on 'high-quality' dog foods like IAMS
and Science Diet (the food my vet recommends), he lacked
the energy to keep up with other dogs in the park. Someone
would throw the ball and he'd get half way by the time the
other dogs got to the ball. Not normal for an American Pit
Bull Terrier. Satch was also having difficulty maintaining
an ideal weight.
After hearing about The Ultimate Diet, I did a little research into what was going into commercial dog foods and was disgusted at what I found out. I immediately switched to The Ultimate Diet and haven't regretted it for a minute. Satchel has more energy than ever (now he beats the other dogs to the ball!) and his weight has stopped fluctuating. I could be imagining it, but his tail seems to wag a lot more as well. Thanks!" -- Lincoln Stewart |

been more vital!"

I was always a very active dog. However, about two years ago, I began to develop an incontinence and weight problem. It became progressively worse until finally, I was diagnosed with Cushings Disease. In short, Cushings is a problem of the adrenal gland which causes overproduction of cortisol.
Now, to my regret, I must go. I need to let the cat know who is boss. He is also demanding The Ultimate Diet, so I must make sure he is not anywhere near mine! (He has his own.)" Thank You, Bear |

"Orso was an un-vaccinated 18-month old, 120 LB intact male Rottweiler
who had been brought up exclusively on The Ultimate Diet. He had never
been treated for any illness or infection or had any digestive or bowel
disturbances.
"He was sold in March of 1995 and was driven home, which was a 14 hour trip. Upon
his arrival his food was switched to a high end commercial kibble. He was taken
to the vet shortly after arriving and was given a full set of shots, including
bordatella and lyme. At the same time he was also put on a 6 month heart guard
and a flea protection called "Program". This all after a long stressful drive.
Following all of this his stools became yellowish and loose. He was later given
the final shot for lyme and 6 days later he was bathed and dipped in a chemical
to discourage parasites. Three days following this treatment he had diarrhea and
was prescribed an anti diarrhea drug. Less than one month later he was again taken
to the vet with itchy skin around the shoulder area and was bathed and dipped,
given more heartworm pills, Program and Hydroxine#20.
"Two months following this he was neutered and given a dental cleaning under
anesthetic (the dog had never before had a tartar build up). He had been suffering
from chronic hot spots for months. He was given a prescription for cephalexin
500mg, a powerful antibiotic. Two weeks later he was sprayed with Benadryl
for the hot spots that had been diagnosed with a staph pyoderma and was also
given etederm shampoo for seven days and Petfa granules. Ten days later he was
given a fecal exam for worms which resulted negative but was treated with Panacur
for worms anyway. At this time they also discovered infected anal glands and
more hot spots. He was given a shot of Meticortin (cortisone) and prescribed
Cephalexin and Prednisone (a strong cortico-steroid). Orso soon after began
vomiting. four days later he had his anal glands expressed for the second time
and a bacterial overgrowth was discovered. He was prescribed Metronidazol 500mg.
"Two days later, Panacur was given for worms--"Just in case they were causing
the diarrhea." The next day a CBC (complete blood count) was done for a
pancreatic chemistry profile. It showed up positive for an elevated enzyme
count in the liver. Bacteria was also present. Orso was put on Baytril (an
antibiotic) and on K.D. canine prescription diet (containing ethoxyquin--a
known carcinogenic removed from many dog foods lately). He again began vomiting
and having diarrhea. He was again given Metronidazol. At this point an x-ray of
the abdominal cavity was suggested by the vet to rule out a possible foreign
object, but thankfully was refused by the owners.
"Orso now weighed only 85 lbs. He was returned to the previous owner in an
attempt to turn his health around. The dog was treated herbally and fasted for
six days with only honey and restorative herbs, given an antidote for the
vaccines he had received and an attempt was made to re-establish the gut's
protective flora and bacteria. He was then slowly re-introduced to The Ultimate
Diet. Since then he has been under the care of a holistic Veterinarian and has not
been sick since."
